  • (help) Making a new good sound

    Discuss Wolf3D and Wolf3D modding/ports

    I like creating a new good sound as in other Wolf 3D mods. I tryed,but I don't know making a not good sound. I use Sound Forge on Sound editing.

    Goldwave worked better for me, personally. It supports WAV formats as well as MP3.

    I usually just record a sound through the microphone and run it through Goldwave.

    I use a sound effect I found on the internet. I didn't change it in any way.

    What sound effects I have done it? E.g.:Guard sound in WSJ mods.

    Again, that question is very vague. As far as TotenkopfSDL goes, all the new guard sounds were done by Ripper.

    I thought different for he's mod. Example:Coming of The Storm or Project:Eisenritter.

    If you want to find out where all the sounds came from, you'll have to read the documentations for each mod.

    I make with Sound Forge for Pistol a new sound with Pitch sound effect. But it sounds quite strange. It's as if to tick.
