Color monotone of the mod is a bit disturbing. Where is my red-blue Wolf?
First levels gameplay are a bit strange and ripped - or wondering at half-empty places, or tons of meat. But later the situation improves and that beginning seems already out of place. Gameplay is cool and powerful! Scale of new features immidiatly overshadows "Blake Stone"'s one, and later is truly mind-bogging. And those are good and fitting (only different cyringes are confusing and I didn't figure those out yet). Is there any decoration detail I shouldn't be afraid in your mod? (retorical question obviously, don't make feature spoilers). Mapping for Wolf is just amazing, maps feel very "complete/consistent", which you don't always see even in good Doom WADs...(only colors....oof, I'm already tired of those labs, waiting for them to end...)
Bottom line - cool product, downloading your "Origins", will play it as well
Passed 12 levels. I'm glad to see variety of weapons and enemies. Though some enemies are too strong and make you to gather all your skill. At the same time, too little secret areas and treasure, unlike as in the original, in "Spear" you can find secret room after almost every wall, I liked that. And not just 2x2 room, but whole big secret area. Like in level with first Boss, where from the sideroom there is a long corridor. And treasure itself look more "treasure-like" than just books. It's more fun to gather those.
But nevertheless a big plus of this mod is good texturing. Textures and sprites and of quite good quality.
Bottom line - I keep playing.
