We proudly present Eisenfaust edition of SoD Extreme (1). We've got many new surprises for you this time, much beyond what Eisenfaust Edition of SoD Extreme II had to offer - new additional enemies, Bosses, weapons, features, enemy actions and attacks, scenery interactivity, missions. So many surprises to discover or get discovered by. Get Psyched!

"Eisenfaust Edition" series of mods are made to bring surprise and new twists to classic Wolf3D gameplay while keeping the oldschool charm of classic Wolf3D.
“Like ID should’ve done it” is overused but I can use it anyway in relation to those editions. Enemies are now more challenging and surprising, but you also have wider weapon selection and optional missions to care for. Have fun discovering all the new features, not all you meet right away.

You didn't spelled my name correctly ;P Congrats on the release.

Wait, there's a dual MG42? Sadly I missed that. Since I saw RussianStormx released her video about this, so is it good for me to reveal some of my videos gradually?

Please let me watch RussianStorm first.

You can release slowly but don't pass her.

I really love map 1 soundtrack. Ron did you compose that?

I have a problem. It seems alerting the dogs will fail the first bonus objective. Is that intended? I notice the cheat view was added to make the mission easier.

I'll only release the first one for now, but I won't release later ones soon.

It's intended. The dogs are meant to fail the mission.

Thanks for the effort. I know partially it's my name's fault because it's difficult to be spelled ;P

    Dog report sounds tasty *ROFL*

^OK, now it seems impossible to me. I will try harder.

Linuxwolf, is level passable mission-wise? Did you try it yourself?

I saw the additional Cleavers, so it should be possible.

There's a strange visual glitch. If I kill a Dog with a Cleaver, sometimes a frame of dead dog will flash on my screen when I'm standing still.

The mission is passable. I'm a bit worried about the dog glitch Garrettchan is seeing.

It seems the visual range for the enemies are a 180 degree half circle instead of a cone. Therefore, dogs can see you if you're directly to the side of them, which makes the mission quite difficult if you ask me, but hey, it's a good change of taste.

I tried more about the visual glitch. It seems it only happens on 1280*800, but not fullscreen. Sometimes, it's difficult to tell whether I'm too sensitive or anything. It's difficult to catch that particular frame I saw. Let me see whether I can record the pick out the frame.

    Image
After I caught the frame from my recording, I feel like this is the shadow you see when the mission is active. Probably I'm standing in the patrolling path of some dead dogs, but their shadows keep patrolling even though they are dead. I tried to replicate this in fullscreen mode, but it doesn't happen although I can't guarantee my feeling is always correct. I made a save in FS mode and load it with 1280*800, the glitch happens again. According to my assumption, I tried to stand in the patrolling route of the second ring of dogs, but this doesn't happen...

That's a very strange glitch. Thanks for looking into it. I can't explain it based on that shot.

Could it be drawing a dog that is behind you?

Yeah, I know it's very difficult to tell with a static screenshot and I always use this particular resolution and it seems there are quite some troubles on 1280*800 for some reason... I can't record a video for you to investigate further now. It seems all the remaining dogs are in front of me. The shot I got is where I killed the first ring of dogs (3), and picked up some cleavers and haven't killed any dog in the second ring (5).
