Do you watch it parallel to the "Flash"?
Because you should...it's same timeline, universe - with crossovers.

Nope, mostly because I wouldn't know how to synchronize it so it doesn't spoil anything on the one show and vice versa.

Flash runs one day before Arrow.

    So it's S1E1 Flash, S3E1 Arrow, S1E1 Flash, S3E2 Arrow etc....

Yup, as Maxim said for watching the 2 together.

I'm stuck at Episode 5 of both shows with no internet so still haven't seen the crossover, but I believe that's why you need to watch them simultaneously.

Watched the first episode of The Flash. It has a fun, loose feel to it that I quite like, though there is also some winking in it that's cheesy. But overall, quite good.

Yes, great series. Different feel to it, less dark...very interesting both visually and plot-wise, great villains.

Started again on the third season of Arrow, the Cupid episode.. that was a really bad episode. Really not feeling S3 so far, hope it'll get better.

Can't say I was a big fan of season 3. There were some epic scenes and episodes (related/stolen from best Batman comics), and great-played main villain. But as a season - IMHO it was weak.

I love season 4 so far, it's good.
Despite being too dark and scary...nasty in a way.

So far, it is focusing a bit too much on its soap-y element - which just so happens to be the element I do not care for. I hope for a more engaging storyline a la S2 soon.

Well, season 3 had the most epic particular scenes in a series ever, and definetely best midseason finale in a TV series :) ...but overall - the weakest season probably.
    Matt Nable is great.

Ra's definitely improves the season. Really highlights how much filler this season started with, but at least it seems that it's revving up to something now.

Arrow really needs to stop making the plot move forward by people being stubborn and dumb. It's not interesting to watch, and it does this all the time. There are better ways to get the plot moving, but so often it relies on competent people being ridiculously incompetent/stubborn/dumb.

Finished the season. Overall, kind of an uneven season. Of course, when you start your season with killing one of your better characters, you're already 1-0 behind. But the whole plot became so convoluted, it's ridiculous. I love John Barrowman as Merlyn, but when you think about everything that he has done, then the whole working together angle feels a bit forced and out of character. And Ra's had a good actor, but his character's motivations were all over the place. On the plus side, they managed to improve both Laurel and Roy, two characters that I couldn't care less about beforehand. Still not two of the better characters or anything, but at least they're tolerable. And I'm glad that more side characters such as Nyssa were given bigger parts, should be interesting. Overall, I do think there is enough groundwork for an interesting season 4.. if they don't fall into the same pitfalls as this one.

    Thanks for the review.

    So...move to season 4 :)
I think it's starting episode was much better than the Flash one.
