I just love this song the cruising sound and the release at 1:53 is just amazing. Listen with some decent speakers and bass. I just love the sound that this duo has.

Been a number of years but I used to listen a lot of Costello's music back in the day. The only one I've listened to recently is 'Painted from memory', the one he did with Burt Bacharach.

I'll look that one up! I really dig Costello at the moment, great music and clever lyrics.

Man, The Smiths are just amazing. Johnny Marr is an underrated guitar player and Morrissey is just amazing, lots of humor in his lyrics that is often overlooked.

This is a song I've been listening to a *lot* lately. It's been a long time since I've heard a modern song that was actually hypnotic. :)

Video Games, also by her, is one of the best songs of last year! ^^

Ever worked on a musical piece where you're close to solving it but not quite yet? It's frustrating! :%)

I've *so* been there! :) It was a major factor with my instrumentals "Monster" and "Into The Fire". I ended up figuring it through the "process of elimination", which you might remember me posting about in a few threads.

Been listening to this one a lot lately, too. The recording seems to be slightly corrupted; I might locate the original SID file and see about re-recording it properly.

Started working on an all electric-acoustic guitar cover of everyone's favorite jazz-fusion song, Birdland.

Some albums I listened to this past week.

Fleetwood Mac - Mirage: no Rumours or Tusk, but good nevertheless.
Harry Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilsson: Anyone who likes pop or soft rock will like this album
Jack White - Blunderbuss: Great first solo effort, liked it a lot and gets better every time I listen to it.
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper: I always say that Revolver is my favorite Beatles album, but after listening to this again I'm starting to doubt that. This is so magnificent and mindblowingly genius.
John Frusciante - The Empyrean: Probably his best solo effort, this album is just a joy to listen to.
The Durutti Column - Return of the Durutti Column: Vini Reilly is one of the best guitarist players ever, if you love sonic soundscapes or just mindblowing guitar play you'll love this.
Sparks - Kimono My House: Weird, eccentric pop/rock/glam rock but quite enjoyable.
Daft Punk - Discovery: Daft Punk never bores me, I love it!
