This song is insanely good, and so is the album.

I myself am quite shy about my music taste...as I love 80s music and it's ...not cool in most of placed to mention that

Lately I add to my iphone list more songs of Dan Hill and Richard Marx, whom I love...
Some of those names people don't even know much...I myself found many of them from sountracks of my favourite 80s music songs (Richard Marx - "Hungry Eyes" from "Durty Dancing", Dan Hill - "It's a long road" from "Rambo: First blood")

This is probably the best songs of Richard Marx:

    Iggy Pop - The Idiot

I think this is as much Bowie's album as it is Iggy's. And Bowie was on a roll in the '70's, without a doubt.

Uh ... wasn't "Hungry Eyes" performed by Eric Carmen?

This is probably the best songs of Richard Marx:

One of my personal favorites from him is this one:

This is from the second album he totally self-produced. The second go-round of such projects is often the best; Sheryl Crow is a good example of this as well.

Tricob's right, Hungry Eyes was done by Eric Carman - Right Here waiting is a Richard Marx song (from his first, self titled album)

I should know, I'm like one of his biggest fans in the World, and have been for like 25 years now! I have every album, even some bootleg stuff and a couple of unreleased albums that I got pirated versions of. I've seen him live in concert 3 times and follow him on Twitter and Facebook, although I'm a bit dismayed at the fact he's releasing a Christmas album as those, from anyone, are usually pretty terrible.

    Wow, didn't know you're a fan

And I'm probably the only fan of Dan Hill :)

Actually, it's from his second album "Repeat Offender". Are you sure you're not thinking of "Endless Summer Nights" or "Hold On To The Nights"?

Listening to Steely Dan's first album Can't Buy a Thrill. Back when they were actually a band with multiple lead singers. Not just Becker & Fagan and hired studio musicians (though that worked well too).

I've been listening to this song a *lot* lately. I have to admit, the F-word never made me laugh me so hard. :D
