Listening to Steely Dan's first album Can't Buy a Thrill. Back when they were actually a band with multiple lead singers. Not just Becker & Fagan and hired studio musicians (though that worked well too).

Can't understand why your country flag doesn't show....checked - and still can't understand.

I've checked - and see no reason for it not to show....but I'll recheck tomorrow.

    Time to sleep :)

I've been listening to this song a *lot* lately. I have to admit, the F-word never made me laugh me so hard. :D

    2. Grizzly Bear - Shields
    3. Bill Fay - Life Is People
    4. Beach House - Bloom
    5. Jessica Pratt - Jessica Pratt
    6. Flying Lotus - Until The Quiet Comes

Normally R&B gives me a rash, but Channel Orange by Frank Ocean is seriously good.

I went to Utrecht today to play for one time in a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band. Here's our version of Road Trippin':

Someone changed REM's song Losing my Religion from the Minor key to the Major key. Quite cool!

Selection of stuff I listened to this week:

Blaudzun - Heavy Flowers: Dutch artist, album suffers a bit because it starts with the best song from the whole album. He largely sings without a Dutch accent, which I appreciate because most do and it's annoying. However, lyrical-wise I will maintain that Dutch bands or artists just aren't that great. That said, it's a good album.

PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love: This has slowly become my second favorite album of hers, behind Let England Shake. It's dark, bluesy, American desert feel at time, and I can listen to this album over and over again.

Bill Hicks - Rant in E-Minor: Probably my favorite stand-up comedian at the moment, really funny and insightful.

Brian Eno - Thursday Afternoon: Excellent ambient music. At times I don't know if it's the music or the background noise combined with the music that I'm listening or not listening to. :D
