I actually enjoyed that. Fun movie. Dark, DC Comics style.
I like how complicated characters are, and they can make you laugh one moment and have teared eyes in another. Like such movies that play with you emotionally. I'm not like a kid looking for some colorful action with flat and overpowered characters. Those characters are darker, more human, more intimidating yet interesting and relatable, make you think more about life...yourself...your place in life, you can relate to them and live through them some of your deepest emotions and fears. DC movies are more psychotic, mess with your mind and inner demons. That's the thing about them, and Batman villains in particular. Those are movies by grownups, for grownups that kids also can watch. DC universe is much more scaring and unpredictable.
I like how bad are good guys, how good are bad guys, and how they mess up with us. I like movies like that. Rick Flag has a nice arc too...

This is only bad movie by Marvel standards.

Harley Queen and the best part of the movie. Every line, every moment, every look. There would be no movie without her. Agree about Deadshot and Amanda...Diablo is interesting character too.

I like the new Joker. Fresh new take on a character, and he fits the new DC movie universe like a glove. More monster than a "beat me in the face" clown, really intimidating and crazy, would kick ass of any other movie Joker, he is more monsterish, and not the "teenager anarchist mentality" that seems like child play now. This is a kickass Joker for Kickass Batman.
I like how they didn't overuse him (this is not Joker movie after all), yet he does make the movie interesting and less predictable and less linear, nice escape from the main plot. Whatever cuts they did off his character - you cannot notice it in the movie.

Obviously in movie with so many characters you can't make equal spotlight for all (sure I'd like to see more of Captain Boomerang, and for non-CGI Croc I'd like to see more action), but sequels are for that :)

The bar scene is the best :) But actually so much rememberable moments...

The weekest thing in this movie is the bad guy. Movie cannot be better than its bad guy, I'd like to see a more classic, interesting and not overpowered villain, but such threat does serve the plot well, especially "suicide mission" mentality, good for introduction of "suicide squad". Other villains might not feel like a suicide mission, and it does move the plot in critical points.
Another weakness is that in trying to make villains complicated and relatable chartacters, they made them too good, and you sometimes forget those are villains.
Yes, movie is not evenly paced, but there are so many characters to introduce and a team to set...some parts are more boring than others, but overall the movie doesn't get too boring at any time.
I don't like it being so much in the night too, those are colorful characters. Night was definetely overused.
It's not clear why other metahumans don't act on such global threat.
Another weakness this movie suffers are best puns and scenes already existing in the trailers. Better not watch trailers before this movie.

Want King Shark in the next one :) Croc I loved actually and he is more human and more relatable, but want to see King Shark too. Though indeed those 2 characters are too similar.

Nice choice. Really hope they'll keep Leto's Joker out of this.

Also some sad news today, as I just heard that Gene Wilder has passed away. His Willy Wonka is still the ultimate Wonka.

I think I'll watch "Man in the High Castle" tv series...as a big fan of Philip K. Dick (writer of the original "Blade Runner"), this is by his best and most acclaimed novel....I've read the novel BTW.

It's also nazi-related so fits this forum and even can give inspiration to mods...

Is this the one where it's the alternate 'what if the Nazi's won the war' book?

I've read most of his work as well.

I watched the extended definitive edition of Batman v Superman. Runs for 3:03:00! The movie was quite good, although i hated Luthor in most of it. His performance would have been good in the older style Batman films but it seemed really out of place in this. I especially loved the way they shot Superman when he was flying, it looked so much more real than any other Movie/TV I've ever seen. Also, Affleck, was pretty damn good.

Watching "Man in the High Castle" and can't stop...as one who've read the book in the past, this is amazing.
Best TV series ever, addicting, touching, visually and aesthetically stunning, great script and acting, really, everything is amazing about this one. Great adaptation of the book too.
Can't get enough of it.
