Well, Israel originally lost to Greece and Croatia, though could win both games...this is just lack of luck and poor judging.
We are 1 game over the other teams...and still only in 3rd place now. Very dissapointing campagn so far, under Luis Fernandez - with such lucky selection of beatable teams. One of the best set of teams we could get...and yet...
Which means me must win the 3 games left to have a chance to finish second place...and pray alot.
Greece and Croatia is up next - on Friday and next week...we must win this...no more excuses...
Most (almost all) of our players succesfully play abroad, including "Chelsie" Yossi Benayoun, but not only.
We have very strong and talented attack...VERY VERY...Shechter, Benayuon, Refaelov and many more....very talanted and strong, rising stars....middle field is very strong too...with talented players....
But our defence....is awful...every game we get too many goals (and pendals too)...stupid ones...Fernandez still looking for good defenders...most of defenders of Israeli league - foreign.
It's Israeli mentality - everyone want to score and attack - and noone likes to be a defender...
Our main hopes:
Shechter:
Yossi Benayoun
Refaelov:
Toto Tamuz:
Maor Buzaglo:
