You can see that Bane teeth are actually tubes going into his mouth and body - decoratively design to look like frightening teeth...great costume design...

...I still think he is not puff enouph to play Bane.

-The guy climbing the well to me looks like Bane. I don't think it's the same well as in BB, I think he escapes a prison.
-The guy doing push-ups is Bruce, I'm 95% sure it's him.
-In the last shot I think it's either one of Bane's thugs who is held by Catwoman (notice how the figure's arms seem to grab to his throat as if he his held by someone), someone who's being hanged or someone aiming a rifle.
-It looks like Tom Hardy is made bigger, he is either as large or larger than Batman. Size wasn't an issue for me in the first place (Bane looks to be intimidating regardless) but he looks big enough to me. Sure, he doesn't look like some wrestler, but they shouldn't go for that anyway. I'd rather have a good actor. :)

Maybe....at first I thought it's from BB like most of this trailer being from older Batman movies. But it still might be Bruce in some flashback....

-The guy doing push-ups is Bruce, I'm 95% sure it's him.

I think too. Context is important...he is talking about Batman before and after that frame...

-In the last shot I think it's either one of Bane's thugs who is held by Catwoman (notice how the figure's arms seem to grab to his throat as if he his held by someone), someone who's being hanged or someone aiming a rifle.
Indeed....now looking again at it - it looks logical...

While they now have a technology to make actors size bigger, or thinner, or taller....

I think to make a main movie villain to use special computer effect in every scene - is not doable.
So he is probably the normal height of Tom Hardy (1.77/1.78 meter).
So IMO he still is not fit to play Bane.

I think the push-up scene might be a flashback. Bruce looks thinner and it might be because of the lightning but I didn't see any scars on his back, and it looks like it takes place in the LoS hideout.

It is very doable, best example is the LotR trilogy. You don't need technology when you can use certain camera tricks. :)

So IMO he still is not fit to play Bane.

Only based on physique, or also acting-wise?

I don't particulary remember his acting in the "Inception" as he had relatively small role....so, yes, puff-wise :)

Acting-wise you don't have to worry (watch Bronson :D ), and puff-wise although he'll not look like the Hulk or something I think he'll look fine. :)

Well....hopefully....anyway I'm sure Nolan will bring the most of what one can do with him.
It's just that Bane should be big and scary.

I think he's pretty scary the way he is now. Scary is perhaps not the word, intimidating fits better. As for big, I don't think it's realistic to think that he will be as big as in the comics. As long as Tom Hardy is as big or slightly bigger as in Bronson and with the aid of some camera trickery to make him look bigger than Batman, he'll be fine. :) But I'll settle for intimidating alone, I personally don't care that much about how big he is anyway. ID-B

    Here's how he looked in Bronson. Not a guy I would pick a fight with :D http://www.reelcomix.com/wp-content/upl ... ronson.jpg

If you refer to the facial mask design alone - I agree. I couldn't design a better one myself. Perfect combination of intimidation and functionality/realism. I sure hope he won't have a easy-to-detach pipe in the back of his head like he did in the cartoon series :)

Just as perfect as Nolan did with the ScareCrow. Didn't think such of it at the time, but the more time passes - I like that design more.

I didn't mean something like 3 meter height, unhuman size... I meant to take someone like Triple H (great height + muscle combination) or Brock Lesnar:

Well, that's a matter of personal preference.

Yes...he maybe have some crazy look....but Bane is a concept for me...and making him not puff is going too far from a concept. You take puffness for him - and he is just a crook with a facemask.

Edit - oh, I guess I'm not the only one to think Brock fits as Bane :)

Seems the Tumbler won't only be back in black, but also one that has the camouflage colors like in BB: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FGDRZZpSyI
