Spam account Max, look at the signature. Probably best to remove the user.

I just want to take a moment and acknowledge how spoiled we are with the coding done on the forum here. Things like YouTube, scroll boxes, progress bars, all of these general quality of life features that are non existent on other forums.

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much, it's so nice (though guys somehow don't use some of them).

I've searched for those special BBCodes over the net, also taking my experience from previous non-modding forums I've administrated over the years, I've collected a set of useful BBCodes.
It was my work to make this forum experience better, and it's nice to see it appreciated.
I'll see if I can add some more nice things.
The particular host allows very nice customization, things you don't get on other free forum hosts.

Two issues I am having with the forum..

1. It gets blocked by my ISP (probably due to my location) so I need to go through weird proxy sites to access it.
2. The animated emoticons seem to chew through a lot of my CPU while I'm writing posts.

Sorry to say that first thing is out of my control, and the other...would be a pity to remove more emotions, though I can remove the ones that we seem not to use in our posts, there are quite alot of those.
As I don't have slowdowns for the smilies, I wonder if someone else is experiencing them as well.
Hard to believe small animated gifs would chew on much CPU

I noticed my CPU fan starts making noise when the emoticons are in view. Could you disable the animations until they've been posted?

I can access the forum from my work PC without being blocked but not from my home one. Its an annoyance.

I can't stop the animations, I can move more smilies to "more smilies" out of main view.

I think he's done a good job of taking the best elements of numerous message boards and put them all together into one message board all his own. It reminds me of several FTP sites that carried one or two useful files in an otherwise worthless collection, and then a site creator uploaded the best files into a powerhouse archive. It's a good example of the Internet at its best. :)

Yes, it was like that indeed and so nice for you to notice and appreciate.
I love managing forums and do everything for it to be useful, warm, welcoming.
