Well, it's because you have more than 10 posts on the forum
If you'd quote or edit my post you'd see the tag I was testing.

Anyway I used this forum to find a bug in my other forum (on the same host). I even don't run that forum anymore, was just helping. "hide" tag was not working properly there - and was working properly here.
I should have mentioned that not to confuse you, sorry....

No, registered users that have less than 20 posts on the forum - won't see it.
Can't be more clear than that.

You have more than 20 posts on the forum, so you'll always see it.

This is not a new feature, and was here since forum began. You can hide posts from guests and even new users - if you want to.
